Your money is killing people in Darfur. See, your Wisconsin tax dollars help to fund the state pension system which in turn invests in businesses and other pension funds which in turn invest in and generate funds for Sudan. Rep. Fred Kessler has written a bill to push investments in Darfur companies and funds - all $440 million of it - out of the state's pension system. This small amount of money in terms of percentage of the whole state pension system but huge in terms of actual money would make it that much more difficult for companies to operate in Sudan and that much more difficult for Sudan to keep slaughtering those in Darfur. Contact both your Madison and hometown legislators and let them know you want Wisconsin to help end the genocide.
