So the modern Democratic primary system featuring the superdelegates was established in order to give the party elders a way to overturn the will of the voters if they pick someone whom they consider unelectable. How ironic is Clinton's current mantra of "let every vote count" when what she is really doing is appealing to the superdelegates to not only overturn the will of the voters but also to retroactively change every party rule so she can win? It's demagoguery of the highest order, and really sort of an electoral temper tantrum.
UPDATE: I should add that embracing the results of primaries that your own campaign, supporters, and senior adviser Harold Ickes voted unanimously to disenfranchise, one of which Obama wasn't even on the ballot and both of which the candidates did not campaign in is really the height of hypocrisy. This relentless demagoguery is not only going to make it harder to win Florida and Michigan in the fall by making Democratic voters there feel unfairly disenfranchised (especially via Clinton's "Florida 2000" references), it's also going to make it more difficult to win over Clinton supporters who will feel the primary has been stolen from her.
