Looks like trouble in Michigan for the re-vote plan:
Legislative leaders say the Sen. Barack Obama camp "needs to agree to the repeat election before legislation is written, and Obama supporters say they must see the bill before signing off on the plan."
Al Franken has a tough hill to climb in the Minnesota Senate race against Norm Coleman. He's currently behind 10 points in the polls.
The NYTimes has a feature article on Paul Bremer's decision to disband the Iraqi army five years ago. Apparently there were some in the Bush administration who weren't so tactless.

It's too bad Bush didn't keep many no-men among the yes-men in the early months of the US occupation or things might have turned out a lot differently.
