I find the the cartoon on the Supreme Court's decision to uphold the ban on partial birth abortions to be completely ridiculus. The decision by the Supreme Court in no way endangers a womans health. It only upholds a ban on a procedure, the partial birth abortion. There are other procedures that can be performed to abort a fetus should the mother so choose, or if her health is in question. Cartoons such as this show ignorance on the part of at least one "pro-choice" advocate, the same ignorance that many have argued is inherent in the arguements of "pro-life" advocates. Before anyone starts an arguement, they better make sure they have the facts. If you don't, then that's just ignorant.....

I don't think the cartoon is in any way saying the Supreme Court decision endangers women's health.

It is, however, saying that we have been on a road toward better women's health for some time and this decision is a break in that trent. Women's health is off in the distance. The coat hanger is behind us. We're somewhere in the middle.

This decision is a blip in the gradual progression toward quality, accessible, affordable women's health options.

Where I wrote "trent" should have read "trend."
