Domestic Partnerships
Madison City Attorney Michael May asked State Attorney General Peg Lautenschlager (sadly probably the last time I'll be able to write that) for her opinion on whether the recent "we hate gays" amendment outlaws the City of Madison's domestic partner registry. You can read the Attorney General's opinion here. You could probably call it good news for legal status marginally similar to marriage.
